Refurbishing a popular Darwin resort
M+J recently completed the refurbishment of 21 cabins at Darwin's FreeSpirit Resort. This include the refurb of the popular poolside cabins - just in time for the dry season tourists.
Prior to the refurb, the cabins were outdated and needed modernising.
Given that the cabins were unable to be booked while the refurb was happening, the project turnaround time needed to be as short as possible.
This meant a lot of team work and tight scheduling with the various trades involved to get the job done.
Project scope:
- Complete strip out of all flooring and installed new timber plank vinyl flooring
- Removed all joinery including kitchen, bathroom vanity and bedroom wardrobe and installed new in modern colours
- Removed outdated spa and installed a new corner shower
- Installed all new plumbing fixturee
- New blinds to all windows
- Installed all new electrical fittings
