Build Process

Step by Step Guide

  • Find your block
We can build anywhere in Northern Australia, and we can also help you find a block.
  • Designing your new home
We can work with your plans, we can help you design your plans, or we have a range of plans that you can choose from. These plans need to be finalised before we can draft a Build Contract.
  • Build Contract
This is the contract that outlines everything that is included in our price. All finance providers / banks will need a signed copy of this contract to provide final financial approval of your loan. Don’t worry – we do this.
  • Finance Approval
Once you have finance approval, we apply for your building permit.
  • Building Permit approval
Once this is issued, we can start work on your new home.
  • Personalising your new home
We have a standard range of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, plumbing and electrical fixtures and fittings that you can choose from. If you want something a bit different you can select other products with a visit to our supplier showrooms.
  • The rest of the block
We can also provide landscaping, fencing, swimming pool services – just let us know what you need and we can organise all this for you.
  • Keeping in contact
You will be assigned a project manager who will be your point of contact during the build – they will be on hand to answer any questions you have.
  • Progress claims
We will issue progress claim invoices throughout the build. Your build contract will outline when these will be issued.
  • Site visits
Please bear in mind that while we are building your new home access to your block may be restricted for safety reasons. We will arrange site visits and inspections at major points of the build. Once the house is complete we will arrange a final inspection so that you can check everything is okay prior to you moving in.
  • Key hand over
Once all works are complete, we will give you keys to your new home, along with all your new home certification, warranties and permits.
