About us

M+J Builders is a majority indigenous owned, construction company that has been operating in the Northern Territory for more than 15+ years.
Our heritage means we have an ethos of honesty, respect and transparency towards our staff and clients. We treat our team like family and have been rewarded with many long-standing members of staff who go the extra mile for our customers.
Our story

In 2019 we commissioned Gulumoerrgin (Larrakia), Wardaman, and Karajarri artist, Mim Cole, to paint our story as a local, family-owned and operated, Indigenous business.

The five stars represent the four corners and the northern-most point of the Northern Territory with the cross hatching within the stars representing the binding of all involved who work together make M+J Builders what it is today.
The three clusters of dots that spread throughout to the edges represent the Traditional Owners of the country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, waters and community.
We are family
The M+J Builders team is made up of a diverse mix of tradies, project managers, site managers, admin staff, apprentices and more.
We treat our team like family and have been rewarded with many long-standing members of staff who go the extra mile for our customers.
